Amanda and I were travelling back down the M5 and were in the region of Taunton when something happened that made me realise that God - really is God! I was keeping within the 70 mph speed limit and remember wishing we were already home. That particular stretch of straight road near Taunton and Weston Super Mare is mind numbing to say the least. As I was going along I sort of remember being passed by a much faster car and I vaguely recall it being extremely close to me. Not usually one to be panicked on the road I admit it gave me a fright as I thought there was going to be a collision. I swerved, what I perceived to be slightly to the left. However it was more than I needed and at that speed it proved nearly fatal. I was now heading for the barrier on the left at a tremendous rate and realised I needed to correct myself. With a screech of tyres I overcorrected the car and this time we are headed into the fast lane. I panicked this time and swerved again back towards the barrier. By n...
I was already working for M&S as a warehouse man and my shift was in the evenings. Monday was different as I only worked a few hours starting at 6am. I knew someone was in the kitchen as the plates were on the sink near the window. Unfortunately we had left the window latched but slightly open. It was at this stage I see a dark object on the bedroom floor and it is moving quietly across the room at the bottom of the bed. I remember thinking – how did a dog get in here! I sat up slightly as the object had almost reached Amanda’s side of the bed. Within a few seconds a figure leapt up and managed to exit the flat through the kitchen. Not knowing if anything was taken I decided to give chase but it took me a while to open the front door. Madder than a snake I was soon hot on the heels of 2 men. The cl...
The NLF breakfast held at the Beefeater Marsh Mills on Saturday the 9th was well attended with 21 people having booked. The buffet style breakfast was enjoyed by all and the consensus was to hold all future breakfast events
there depending on booking.
Amanda gave her personal testimony which held the room captive for over 10 minutes and Ed followed with testimonies of the Goodness of God since
leaving Zimbabwe and settling in the UK. Amazing stories!
